BEST FOR NYCBest for NYC is a citywide campaign that recognizes and celebrates businesses using business as force for good, meaning their businesses positively affect and influence NYC workers, NYC neighborhoods and communities, and the environment. Best for NYC encourages all businesses to take the first step in measuring what matters: impact, and not just profit.
In order to participate in the Best for NYC Campaign, businesses must take the Best for NYC Challenge. The Best for NYC Challenge is a quick impact assessment - a free online tool to help gauge your business impact and compare against 30,000+ businesses. This tool will help you identify where your business excels and where your business could improve to strengthen the bottom line and our city.
Then what? Businesses that complete the Best for NYC challenge and commit to continuous improvement can assess business support tools and services and may be recognized as "competing to be Best for NYC". At the end of 2015, NYCEDC will celebrate businesses that have taken the Best for NYC challenge and are working to build a better business and improve quality of life for all New Yorkers.
